sass minification problem

Sep 25, 2013 at 4:38 AM
Hi All,
Thanks to developers, this is an awesome package. I've got a problem though.
I have an MVC4 website in VS2012. I've installed 2 packages via NuGet:
BundleTransformer.MicrosoftAjax.1.8.5
BundleTransformer.SassAndScss.1.8.3

I specified defaultMinifier="MicrosoftAjaxCssMinifier" in the web.config bundleTransformer/core/css (as per the documentation)

In the RegisterBundles I have this code snippet:
var commonStylesBundle = new Bundle("~/bundles/css/bundle-style");
            commonStylesBundle.Include(
                "~/Content/themes/base/style.scss"
                );
commonStylesBundle.Builder = nullBuilder;
commonStylesBundle.Transforms.Add(cssTransformer);
commonStylesBundle.Orderer = nullOrderer;
bundles.Add(commonStylesBundle);
The code above pretty much follows the documentation examples.

The SASS file gets successfully transformed into css, so client side receives a css version. But it's not minified and I can't figure out what else I need to do to get the minification working.

Please help.

Well, this is embarrassing. There is no problem at all - it's the way FireBug shows css, it gives an impression that there is no minification. However if you look at the SASS URL source - it's properly minified.

My apologies.
